First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This early study tested whether adding curcumin (a compound found in turmeric) to a standard chemotherapy drug could be safe and help people with advanced colon cancer that no longer responds to treatment. The study planned to enroll 15 adults with metastatic colon cancer. The goal was to check for side effects and see if the combination could shrink tumors or slow the disease.
