NCT ID NCT02724202

First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This early-stage study tested whether adding curcumin (a compound found in turmeric) to standard chemotherapy could help patients with advanced colon cancer that no longer responds to the drug 5FU. The trial enrolled 15 adults with metastatic colon cancer and aimed to check safety and any signs of tumor shrinkage. The study was terminated early, so results are limited.
