Summary
This study looks at whether opening a completely blocked heart artery with a procedure called PCI, on top of taking standard heart medications, helps people live longer or feel better. About 2000 adults with stable heart disease and symptoms like chest pain or shortness of breath will be followed for years. The main goals are to see if the procedure reduces deaths and improves quality of life.
