First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study is testing a new blood test that looks for cancer DNA to predict how well rectal cancer responds to treatment given before surgery. About 60 adults with locally advanced rectal cancer will provide blood and tissue samples at several time points. The goal is to build a model that helps doctors know early if the treatment is working.
