Blood test may predict cancer return better than scans

NCT ID NCT07283575

First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a blood test that tracks DNA from tumors (ctDNA) can better measure how well treatment is working and predict if cancer will come back in people with advanced colorectal cancer. About 497 participants will receive standard radiotherapy and chemotherapy, with or without an immunotherapy drug. The goal is to see if ctDNA monitoring is more accurate than regular CT scans for guiding care.
