Blood test may catch ovarian cancer relapse months before scans
NCT ID NCT06071286
First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study is testing whether a blood test that looks for tumor DNA (ctDNA) can detect ovarian cancer coming back earlier than current methods like CT scans or CA-125 blood tests. About 30 women with advanced ovarian cancer will give blood samples over time after their initial treatment. If the test works, it could help doctors find and treat recurrences sooner.
