Can a special starch help kids with Crohn's disease?

NCT ID NCT06301477

Summary

This study is testing whether a specific type of starch, chosen based on a child's unique gut bacteria, can help improve their gut health. It involves 45 children aged 8-17 who have Crohn's disease and are already taking anti-TNF medication. The main goal is to see if the starch increases helpful bacteria and their byproducts in the gut, which may support the existing treatment.
