Massive registry aims to pick best doctors for carotid stenting

Summary
This study enrolls up to 8,000 people with severe carotid artery narrowing (either with or without symptoms) to track how safe carotid stenting is when done by experienced doctors. The main goal is to see how many patients have a stroke or die within 30 days after the procedure. Results will help choose the best doctors for a larger randomized trial.
