Summary
This study is a registry that will enroll up to 8,000 people with severe narrowing of the carotid arteries (the main arteries in the neck that supply blood to the brain). The goal is to track how safe and effective a procedure called carotid artery stenting is when done by skilled doctors. The results will help select the best doctors for a larger, randomized trial. Participants will be followed for 30 days after the procedure to check for stroke or death.
