Summary
This study looked at whether using a CPAP breathing device during radiation therapy can reduce the amount of radiation reaching the lungs. Eight people with left-sided breast cancer or lung cancer took part. Researchers compared lung radiation doses when patients breathed normally versus when they used CPAP.
