First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests a telehealth program where parents coach their child (ages 1-6) with severe motor delays to use an adaptive stander for 30 minutes, three times a week. One session each week is guided by a physical therapist via video call. Researchers will measure changes in the child's physical activity, sleep, and endurance, as well as parent stress and activity levels. The goal is to see if this home-based approach can improve fitness and quality of life.
