Summary
This study aimed to understand how changes in healthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic affected the quality of life and care experiences of patients who needed surgery or other medical procedures. Researchers surveyed over 5,000 Dutch patients who had an intervention in 2020 or 2021. The goal was to learn from patient experiences to help improve future care during health crises.
