Scientists probe why COVID survivors Can't catch their breath
NCT ID NCT04854863
Summary
This study aims to understand why some people who were hospitalized for severe COVID-19 continue to experience fatigue and exercise problems long after recovery. Researchers will measure the strength and function of breathing muscles in 50 survivors to see if muscle weakness is a key cause. The goal is to create a model that explains this issue and to show if special breathing muscle training during rehabilitation could help.
