First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tracked nearly 4,800 adults in France who were already in a weight-loss program to see how COVID-19 confinement changed their weight, sleep, and habits. Researchers measured weight, waist size, blood pressure, and body composition before, during, and after lockdown. The goal was to understand how stress, less activity, and poor sleep affected weight loss progress.
