Summary
This study aimed to count how many healthy adults in central North Carolina developed antibodies to the COVID-19 virus over one year. Researchers enrolled 643 people aged 18 and older who did not have COVID-19 at the start. Participants gave blood samples five times and completed weekly online surveys about their health and symptoms. The goal was to better understand virus exposure and help guide public health responses.
