NCT ID NCT06533449
First seen Jun 13, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested a special bassinet called the Couplet Care bassinet to see if it helps new mothers and their babies do better in the hospital after birth. Researchers compared it to a standard bassinet by surveying 160 mothers about sleep, breastfeeding, and satisfaction, and also reviewed medical charts. The goal was to support safe skin-to-skin contact and rooming-in, where the baby stays in the mother's room.
