First seen Jun 13, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested a special bassinet called the Couplet Care bassinet to see if it helps new mothers and their babies do better in the hospital after birth. Researchers compared it to a standard bassinet by surveying 160 mothers about their sleep, breastfeeding, and satisfaction. The goal was to see if this design supports safer skin-to-skin contact and rooming-in.
