NCT ID NCT05000866
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding communication skills training and a substance use module to standard couples HIV testing can help male couples reduce drug use and risky sexual behaviors. About 484 male couples will be randomly assigned to different combinations of these add-ons. The goal is to see if these extra tools lower drug use, increase HIV prevention steps like PrEP, and reduce sexually transmitted infections.
