NCT ID NCT06728267

First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a 6-week core stabilization exercise program could improve trunk muscle endurance, breathing function, and quality of life in children and teens (ages 9-17) who play underwater rugby. Thirty participants were split into two groups: one received the core training plus their usual practice, while the other only did their usual practice. Researchers measured muscle endurance, lung function, and quality of life before and after the program to see if the extra training made a difference.
