Core endurance linked to explosive power in young judokas, study finds
NCT ID NCT07586020
First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looked at 20 young male judokas (ages 10-13) to see if core endurance is related to how far they can throw a medicine ball and how well they can balance on one leg. Participants did timed core exercises, a backward overhead throw, and a balance test. The goal was to understand how core strength might help improve judo performance. The study is complete and purely observational, with no treatment involved.
