Heart failure sensor aims to cut deaths and hospital visits
NCT ID NCT06783335
First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a small sensor placed in the lung artery (the Cordella PA Sensor System) can help people with chronic heart failure do better than just taking standard medications. Researchers will track about 2,150 patients for two years to see if those with the sensor have fewer deaths and heart-related hospital stays. The goal is to see if real-time pressure monitoring can improve heart failure management.
