First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at why the sympathetic (fight-or-flight) nervous system is overactive in people with COPD. The goal is to understand how sleep apnea, lung function, and inflammation contribute to this nerve overactivity. No new treatment is being tested; this is an observational study to gather knowledge.
