New lung procedure aims to ease breathing for COPD patients

Summary
This study tests a new treatment called Targeted Lung Denervation (TLD) for people with moderate to severe COPD. The procedure uses a catheter to target nerves in the lungs, aiming to reduce symptoms and improve quality of life. About 300 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the TLD treatment or a sham procedure, then followed for health checks and breathing tests.
