First seen Jan 30, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looks at how often heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) occurs in people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Researchers will follow 200 hospitalized COPD patients aged 50 to 70 to track their health, including deaths, hospital readmissions, and major heart events. The goal is to better understand the link between these two conditions, not to test a new treatment.
