Researchers track hidden heart risk in lung disease patients
NCT ID NCT07375433
Summary
This study aims to understand how often a specific type of heart failure occurs in people with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and how it affects their health. Researchers will observe 200 hospitalized COPD patients in Russia, checking their heart and lung function and tracking their health status for one year. The goal is to gather knowledge to improve future care, not to test a new treatment.
