Scientists test if new breathing exercises help COPD Patients' muscles get more oxygen
NCT ID NCT07267923
Summary
This study aims to understand how two different breathing muscle training methods affect oxygen levels in the muscles of people with COPD. Researchers will compare traditional breathing exercises against a newer 'functional' approach during short walking tests. The study will measure muscle oxygen, breathing difficulty, fatigue, heart rate, and blood oxygen levels in 20 participants with moderate to severe COPD.
