Summary
This early-stage study tests a mouthwash made from copaiba, a natural oil from the Amazon, to see if it can safely prevent or treat painful mouth sores caused by radiation therapy. About 20 adults with head and neck cancer will use the mouthwash during their radiation treatment. The main goal is to find the highest safe dose and check if it reduces pain.
