Summary

This study compares a special contrast-enhanced mammogram (CEDM+CEDBT) with standard breast MRI to see if it can accurately predict whether breast cancer has been eliminated by chemotherapy. About 30 women with locally advanced breast cancer will get 1-2 of these mammograms during or after chemo, before surgery. If successful, this cheaper and faster imaging method could replace MRI for checking treatment response.

Inclusion Criteria: * Diagnosis with either type of invasive locally advanced breast cancer regardless of hormone receptor or Her2 status * Plan to receive at least 4 cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy ahead of definitive surgery Exclusion Criteria: * Pregnancy * Allergy/sensitivity to contrast agent * Decreased kidney function * Diabetes
