First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tested whether a non-invasive device called ccNexfin can accurately measure cardiac output (how much blood the heart pumps) in pregnant women. 100 pregnant women past 32 weeks participated. The goal was to see if this device could replace or supplement standard ultrasound-based monitoring, potentially allowing earlier detection of problems that could affect the baby.
