First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests a therapy called Constraint-Induced Movement (CI) Therapy for adults who had a stroke at least 6 months ago and have mild weakness in one arm. The therapy involves daily training to improve arm and hand use, along with strategies to encourage using the weaker arm in daily life. The goal is to see if this approach helps people use their affected arm more and better. The study is small, with 12 participants, and is currently recruiting.
