First seen Feb 13, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests a new device called the Conformal Left Atrial Appendage Seal in 64 people with non-valvular atrial fibrillation who are at high risk for stroke. The device is placed to close off a small pouch in the heart where blood clots often form, offering an alternative to long-term blood-thinning medication. The main goals are to check safety and how well the device seals the pouch.
