New stent retriever aims to restore blood flow in stroke patients within 24 hours

Summary

This study tests a new device called the CONDA stent retriever in 50 people who have had a stroke caused by a large blood clot in the brain. The goal is to see if the device can safely reach and remove the clot to restore blood flow. Participants must be treated within 24 hours of their first symptoms. The study will also check for any serious side effects, like bleeding in the brain.
