NCT ID NCT06766149

First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looked at whether playing computer-based brain games can improve thinking skills like memory, attention, and self-control in children. 176 primary school students in Hong Kong were randomly assigned to one of two brain-training programs or a waitlist group. They played the games for 15-20 minutes, three times a week, for 8 weeks. Researchers tested the children's cognitive abilities before, right after, and two months after the training to see if there were lasting benefits.
