First seen Mar 31, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looked at two ways of applying compression bandages for people with open leg ulcers caused by vein problems. One method covered the heel, the other left it uncovered. The goal was to see which technique was more comfortable and kept the right amount of pressure to help healing. 102 adults with venous ulcers took part, and researchers measured pressure and swelling over time.
