NCT ID NCT07221682
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study compares two types of ultrasound-guided nerve blocks (supra-inguinal and infra-inguinal fascia iliaca blocks) in 60 adults aged 30-60 undergoing thigh or knee surgery. The goal is to see which block makes it easier for patients to get into position for spinal anesthesia and provides longer pain relief after surgery. Participants will receive one of the two blocks before surgery, and researchers will measure positioning ease and pain relief duration.
