Summary

This study compares two surgeries—proximal gastrectomy and total gastrectomy—for people with locally advanced gastroesophageal junction cancer. About 120 adults aged 18 to 90 will be randomly assigned to one surgery type. The goal is to see which approach leads to better 3-year cancer-free survival and fewer complications.
