Summary
This study compares two surgical procedures—removing part or all of the stomach—for people with advanced cancer where the esophagus meets the stomach. About 120 participants will be randomly assigned to one surgery or the other. The goal is to see which approach leads to longer cancer-free survival and fewer complications.
