First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a simple six-minute stepper test can give similar information as a more complex exercise test for people with COPD. The goal is to make it easier for patients to get the right exercise prescription for pulmonary rehabilitation. 65 adults with COPD participated, and researchers measured their oxygen use and other body responses during both tests.
