First seen Jan 14, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests three different sedatives (ketamine, nalbuphine, and dexmedetomidine) in 60 children aged 6 months to 3 years who need stitches removed after surgery for cleft lip or palate. The goal is to see which drug works fastest and safest, and which makes the procedure easiest for the surgeon and child. Results will help doctors choose the best option for future kids.
