First seen Jan 20, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tested two different designs of contact lenses worn overnight to treat moderate nearsightedness (myopia) in adults. The goal was to see which lens design better improves vision without glasses during the day. 40 participants with myopia and mild astigmatism wore the lenses overnight and had their vision checked. The lenses are a temporary control method, not a permanent cure.
