New lens offers sharper sight at every distance after cataract surgery
NCT ID NCT07548294
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested three types of artificial lenses implanted during cataract surgery to see which gives the best vision at far, middle, and near distances. 197 people with cataracts in both eyes received one of the three lens types. The goal was to improve vision and reduce the need for glasses, while checking for side effects like glare or halos.
