First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tested two different methods (paracoracoid and costoclavicular) for placing tiny catheters near nerves to deliver pain medicine after hand surgery. The goal was to see which approach provides better numbness and pain relief. 140 adults having hand surgery took part, and researchers measured how well each method blocked sensation in the forearm.
