First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tests a new drain system (Interi) against standard drains in 20 women having implant-based breast reconstruction after mastectomy. The goal is to see if the new drain reduces complications, shortens drain time, and improves patient comfort. Participants must be 18-65, have a breast cancer diagnosis or genetic mutation, and plan for bilateral mastectomy with immediate reconstruction.
