Simple stomach treatment may be just as effective as surgery for small growths
NCT ID NCT07161479
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study compares two procedures for removing small precancerous growths in the stomach. One method cuts out the growth, while the other uses heat to destroy it. Researchers want to see if the simpler heat method works just as well and causes fewer side effects. About 160 adults with growths 1 cm or smaller will take part and be followed for one year.
