Family talk vs. teen talk: which works better for underage drinking?

Summary
This study compares two approaches to help teens reduce alcohol and drug use: one that talks only with the teen, and another that includes the whole family. About 2,300 teens (ages 12-17) and their caregivers will take part during regular doctor visits. Researchers will track changes in substance use, behavior, and family communication over one year.
