Summary
This study compares two approaches to address alcohol and drug use in teens during primary care visits: one that only involves the teen, and another that includes their family. Researchers will follow 2,300 teens and their caregivers for one year to see which method works better. The goal is to find the most effective way to reduce substance use and improve communication between parents and teens.
