Summary
This study compares different standard methods for a heart procedure called ablation, used to treat atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat). About 1,125 adults will take part, and each will receive the method that is standard at the time of their treatment. The goal is to see which method best prevents the irregular heartbeat from returning within 12 months, and which is safest in the first 30 days after the procedure.
