Summary
This study tested whether improving neighborhoods (like cleaning up blight) and offering family support programs can help mothers and their children ages 11-16 living in disadvantaged areas. About 915 people took part. Researchers measured things like child behavior, neighborhood cohesion, and risky behaviors to see if these community-level changes make a real difference.
