New study aims to cut opioid use after difficult C-Sections

Summary

This study tests whether a special numbing shot (TAP block) given during a complex C-section can reduce the need for strong painkillers afterward. About 120 women with a history of multiple abdominal surgeries will participate. The goal is to improve pain control and lower opioid use.
