Two-for-One heart valve fix may boost survival in leaky valve patients

Summary
This study tests whether repairing both the mitral and tricuspid heart valves at the same time is better than fixing only the mitral valve in people with severe leakage in both valves. About 404 adults with moderate-to-severe or severe leakage will be randomly assigned to one of the two procedures. The goal is to see which approach reduces deaths, hospital readmissions, and improves quality of life one year later.
